Exeter College Student Choir is open to all students across the college giving an opportunity to sing in a group and enjoy socially singing together.. The choir music ranges from classical to popular music. This year you will expect to hear pieces from Disney, The Greatest Showman, Sister Act 2 and an original composition!

Singer Songwriter Joshie Beard excites his audience with what can only be described as a beautiful male vocal.

Honey Trap are an alt-pop duo from  Bath, UK, hitting the local scene hard with indelible hooks and a third-person description; these avant-garde chicken nuggets are undoubtedly gods among men.

18.35 Ben Champion DJ + Live Band

Ben is an 18 year old DJ, music producer and MC. His taste is music is extremely diverse, from Reggae to Drum and Bass to Hip-Hop. At Exeter Respect Festival, he will be mixing alongside Seth Boxall on the drums. They will be creating a mix-mash of bass-line, jungle, reggae and more…!

11.00 Anna Marie Waite

Anna Marie Waite is an Exeter based singer-songwriter. She loves everything ‘homely’ and her music is described as warm, comforting and easy to listen to. The messages in her music are of life’s simplicities and are a great reminder when life gets a bit challenging. annamariewaite.com

11.35 Holly Kirby

Holly Kirkby is an engaging singer / song-writer from Exeter who accompanies herself expressively as a pianist. Holly’s performance is rich in emotion, drawn from her own experiences of life, which she explores through her contemporary compositions and choice of covers, inspired by artists such as Florence and the Machine and Amy Winehouse.

11.50 Carys Gardner

An exciting singer songwriter from Devon. Carys Gardner is a house hold name already, at such a young age, at venues such as Circa 1924 where she fronts the house band. Her smooth and timeless vocals fully engage her audience. A must see act.

12.05 Ben Champion DJ Set

12.30 Horizonz Band

Horizonz formed in early 2017 and consists of Rob Murphy – Guitar/Vocals, Jason Aughton – Keys, Patrick Clarke – Bass Guitar & George Woodward – Drums.
Since forming the band has released two singles onto iTunes and Spotify and has featured on BBC Introducing as well as stations across the UK and even in America. Local radio stations have been giving Horizonz weekly airplay since the singles came out. The music videos for the singles have been massively popular on Youtube, Falling hit over 8,000 views in the first month.
The band’s first album, Sundown, was released in early 2018. Horizonz have been busy gigging across the UK and securing various festival slots for 2018. The band is now working on new songs and recording a live lounge album in April with video for youtube.

1310 Jambassadors

The Jambassadors are a smaller, breakout ensemble selected from Exeter College Music Academy ensemble Jazz Project. They are a collective of music students keen to dig deeper into improvisation, explore modern jazz rooted music and experiment. In varying shapes and forms they will be performing funk, fusion, Latin, rock, folk, prog and contemporary jazz inspired music plus showcasing student original compositions and arrangements. Lead by musical director Roz Harding, the Jambassadors performances are an exciting celebration of creativity where anything can happen!

Combining classically chilled out R&B foundations with non-stop pop hooks.

15.00 Velvet and Stone

Classic 4 piece band indie folk band now part of BBC introducing network. Fantastic vocals supported by excellent musicians. New single and album available.

16.00 Exeter College Big Band

Now in its 30th year, the Big Band play Big band Jazz/ pop and soul. Our current programme includes Latin American, popular ballads, Motown soul, soundtracks and genuine big band jazz repertoire. The Big Band has been a launch pad for many musicians over the years and many members have gone on to careers in the music industry.
